U
Mining Resources Inc. Announces Acquisition of Revolutionary Diesel
Fuel Development Technology
Tuesday October 2, 9:13 am ET
Technology Used to Produce Two Innovative Diesel Fuels Poised to
Capture Significant Market Share
NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct
2, 2007 -- U Mining Resources Inc. (Other OTC: UMNG.PK
- News)
today announced the acquisition of a revolutionary diesel fuel development
technology that will be a vital asset in its Green Energy Division.
This proprietary technology, based on surfactant chemistry, is used
to produce two innovative diesel fuels: a substitute of light diesel
and a substitute of heavy diesel. The fuel mixtures are less costly,
more efficient, deliver higher performance and are less toxic than
currently available fuels on the market that are used in diesel
engines of cars, trucks, locomotives and ships and in industrial
heating appliances.
The technology emerged from a lengthy and rigorous development and
testing process initiated in July 2000 by a privately owned Canadian
chemical R&D firm. It was developed in the following chemical
labs: INRS Université de Québec, CANMET, Bodycote
Technitrol and Engine System Development Center Inc.
The homogenous liquid diesel fuels consist of three components:
crude oil, water and surfactant. The technical innovation involves
the stimulation of hydrocarbon chain fracturing by water (steam)
effect. This process results in superior emulsion stability as well
as enhanced diesel motor performance in different applications (e.g.
cars, trucks, locomotives, ships, electric power generators, residential
and industrial heating). This hydro-thermo reaction method, which
occurs within oil-water emulsion, is protected by a Canadian patent.

Key Advantages of Two New Diesel Fuels vs. Traditional Diesel
Fuels
-- Selling price, including a 10% profit margin, will be 35% lower
than traditional diesel fuels
-- Costs 20% less to produce than the diesel fuels available on
the market
-- Toxic emissions will be 5 to 30% lower than traditional light
diesel fuels
-- Generates 7% more output from a diesel engine because of the
water present in the mixture
-- Engine corrosion is prevented due to water condensation on
the bottom
-- Prevention of cylinder and piston corrosion because of lower
combustion temperature
The light and heavy crude oil utilized in the mixtures will be
sourced from Alberta, Newfoundland and Faja Orinoco, Venezuela.
The fuel will be developed in an industrial location close to
the harbor in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Further details related to this acquisition and the fuel development
and commercialization strategy will be disclosed in short order.
