U Mining Resources, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Uranium Mining Claims in James Bay Region of Northern Quebec

Presence of Uranium Confirmed by Technical Reports Submitted to Quebec Ministry of Natural Resources

NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 14, 2007 -- U Mining Resources, Inc. (Other OTC: UMNG.PK - News) today announced the acquisition of a 100% interest in 12 mining claims located in the James Bay region of Northern Quebec, Canada. The claims cover approximately 660 hectares in the 33H12 area. According to past Geological Technical Reports on the claims (MRNQ File GM-34038, GM-34039, etc.), uranium grades from surface samples were in the range of 81.5 to 128.5 PPM U3O8.

This acquisition provides U Mining with a strong foothold in an area with a documented occurrence of uranium mineralization, and it is a major milestone towards the Company's ultimate goal of becoming a uranium-producing and profitable company. U Mining plans to conduct further exploratory work to determine the amount of uranium reserves on the claims. Further details on the claims, including the Uranium Grade Chart, will be furnished to shareholders in short order.

 





About the James Bay Region

The James Bay region is characterized by two important volcanic belts, namely Eastmain and La Grande. Due to the development of large hydroelectric dams over the past 25 years, the region is endowed with an important infrastructure that offers accessibility by road on an annual basis, as well as supplying valuable services such as electricity, airports and hotels. The claims are situated roughly 1/2 km. from a paved road leading to the LG-4 Airport, which is 25 km. to the northeast. In addition, the claims are approximately 100 km. west of Hydro-Quebec's LG-4 power station.
